On March 31st the annual Becks Futures exhibition
opens at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA).
Does Becks Futures really give a chance for new +
exciting artists to enter? How fair is the
judging system? And is the exhibition just a Becks
advertisement which exploit the arts?
The exhibition also promises to "provide an insite into the diversity of contempory art being made in the UK" althought you must be under 35 to enter - do our elders not produce "contempory" art?

Scottee // Performance Artist: At 20 years old he has already worked with world-class companies such as The Roundhouse, Hampstead Theatre & Station Opera House.
His work is fresh, new and political, causing the press to compare him with such artist's as Franko B, Gina Pane + Leigh Bowery - one of Scottee's biggest references.
'Ridiculous Obsession' - highlights an artists fascination with another artist. Am i just monoprint of anothers work? or it that the easy comparison for those who cant see any further? In this Scottee's first live installation we learn that of Scottee to Bowery.
